Nancy & Mouneer

The Ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Egypt is directed toward community development to help break the cycle of poverty. We believe that the development of our beloved country, Egypt, is based on improving the education, health care and productivity of our citizens. Our hope is that we will build the capacity of those we serve to be more productive and thus transform their lives.

You may be aware that Bishop Mouneer is a photographer of outstanding professional quality who sees peace, grace, love and hope in The Lord’s Creation, whether human faces or nature, and his photographs are a reflection of what he sees.   On occasions he has exhibited some of his work in Egypt, USA and last month in Cambridge, raising funds for different ministries with great success.

Refuge Egypt NewsletterRefuge Egypt is one of the main programs of the Episcopal/Anglican Diocese of Egypt.  It provides help to refugees from many countries who are present in Egypt.  This is a great ministry which stems out of the flight of the Holy Family to Egypt (they themselves were political refugees).  Last year, for example, Refugees Egypt helped around 24,000 refugees, mostly Sudanese.
